Welcome to MINJIE!

MINJIE Institute of Environmental Science and Health Research will welcome research scientists, stakeholders and public for cooperation to discover toxic and persistent organic chemicals in global environment, biota and human beings.

   Environmental Analysis

We provide high-quality analysis of legacy and emerging organic contaminants in environmental samples including air, water, sediment, soil and biota, supporting researchers from universities, institutions, and industry. Our laboratory follows established quality assurance and quality control procedures to ensure accurate data for environmental monitoring, risk assessment, and scientific research.

            Life Science

Legacy persistent organic pollutants (POPs) and emerging organic contaminants are synthetic chemicals widely used in industrial and agricultural practices. These substances are globally distributed and can accumulate in living organisms, becoming more concentrated through the food chain. Their toxicity poses serious risks to marine life and potentially to human health. Studying and analyzing these contaminants in both biota and humans is essential for understanding their environmental and health impacts, and is critical for informing effective pollution control, ecosystem protection, and public health strategies.

   Research and Education

Our mission is to advance knowledge in environmental pollution analysis through the application of cutting-edge analytical instruments. We aim to support young scientists and students by developing and optimizing methods to detect specific organic contaminants, providing reliable data and technical expertise for academic, governmental, and industrial research projects.
